All shore excursions include door to door transportation. Guests are met directly at the port and returned safely to the ship after the tour concludes.
How are visa requirements handled?
Visa requirements vary based on nationality and specific cruise line protocols. Up Travel Vietnam provides guidance on current regulations to ensure all necessary documentation is in order before the journey begins.
Are custom itineraries available?
Custom itineraries are available for those seeking a specific experience or a unique route through the provinces. Simply share the desired destinations or interests, and a personalized plan will be created to fit the ship's docking window.
What currency is used for the tour prices?
All shore excursion prices on the website are displayed in US Dollars (USD). Up Travel Vietnam applies a fixed exchange rate from USD to Vietnamese Dong (VND) at the time of booking, which remains unchanged regardless of currency fluctuations.
What is the policy for cancellations?
The refund amount depends on how far in advance a written cancellation is received. Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure qualify for a 100% refund of the total tour price, excluding the non-refundable deposit. For cancellations between 30 and 60 days, a 75% refund is provided, while requests made 15 to 29 days before departure receive a 50% refund. No refunds are issued for cancellations made 14 days or less before the tour.
Is there special pricing for children?
Pricing for children depends on their age and sleeping arrangements. Children under 2 years old who share with two adults without an extra bed travel free of charge. For children under 10, discounts range from 10% to 50% depending on whether they share with one or two adults and if an extra bed is required. Travelers aged 10 and above are charged at the full adult fare.
